Great Device |
This device saved my life, instead of killing my shoulder with a dinosauric crutch I was strolling around like a happy biker. Thank you Knee Walker Central. |

Better than expected |
This proved to be a nifty little device. It helped me more than I expected after my doctor recommended it to me. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors and this walker helped me do exactly that. The pad was comfortable and it’s incredibly easy to steer. My only real complaint is that I didn’t know about it when I was recovering from a broken ankle 5 years ago. |
Great waterproof cast cover |
I rented the Northrup Knee Walker after I severely injured my foot in a car accident. I really like the way the makers of this product really thought of everything. I particularly enjoyed the waterproof cast cover, as it made it MUCH easier than I thought to take a shower. I’ve never been injured before this and am not used to equipment like this, but it was easy to assemble and use. It made my life much easier when my foot was recovering and I’ve been telling everyone about it! |
My New Best Friend |
I broke my ankle in 3 places in high school and then aggravated it again on the job when I was 39. I’ve been on crutches before and can tell you that it’s terrible. So when I messed reinjured my ankle again at the age of 61, I knew I wanted something other than crutches after the surgery. I did some research before my surgery and between my doctor’s recommendation and the online reviews I was sold. Of course, the hype turned out to be real. The Northrup Knee Walker was a great alternative to crutches for me. While I’m not very experienced with walkers, I find it hard to believe there is anything better out there. |
Lose the crutches |
There’s some assembly required, but it’s a cinch. I was able to get around my house without any trouble or pain. I spent five weeks with my walker and there were days where I had almost forgotten that I was injured. It was a tremendous help with my recovery process and I can’t say enough about the extra little bells and whistles that came with it. This is an awesome knee walker that will hopefully make crutches obsolete! |
